LANDINE’S STORY ARQUE

Landine mainly advises and litigates: entrepreneurs who are or are at risk of becoming involved in a dispute about intellectual property, advertising or press publications can contact Landine for thorough, understandable and above all honest advice and, if necessary, assistance in legal proceedings. Landine focuses on trademark and trade name law, product design and advertising. In addition, Landine regularly supports other law firms that require expertise in the field of intellectual property law or procedural law.

Landine was sworn in as a lawyer in 2014 and gained experience at various law firms before setting up her own firm in 2022. During her career, she has worked for a wide range of clients: from start-ups to well-known multinationals. Landine is a service provider par excellence and always puts herself in the shoes of the client, so that she can take into account all the interests at stake.

Landine therefore not only advises on the legal context of a case, but also looks at what is sensible in practice and what will provide the best possible outcome for the client.

REPRESENTATIVE CASES

  • Responded to Roos Wonen & Slapen in a copyright dispute concerning the protection of a sofa.
  • Enforcement of copyright and design rights on a piece of recycled furniture from a Rotterdam green organisation.
  • Enforcement of the trademarks of a Zeeland entrepreneur, including the Benelux trademark WENDY’S, which has been the subject of several legal proceedings
  • in the Netherlands.
  • Responded to the CEO of a Belgian company in proceedings concerning the question of whether statements on LinkedIn can be considered advertising.
  • Responded to The Body Shop in proceedings concerning the use of the trademarks of RITUALS.

Landine has registered the following main (and sub) areas of law in the legal areas register of the Dutch Bar Association:

Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits in each registered main area of ​​law each calendar year in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
